As a busy Perth window cleaning professional I think window cleaning as a profession is very healthy given the physical nature of the work and the number and variety of client interactions. But what about window cleaning from a client perspective, could it be good for your health?
A number of studies have made the connection between cleaning and an improved mental state. Although not in possession of a formal study that looks specifically at window cleaning and its impact on health I think it should follow that window cleaning can offer health benefits.
I have many window cleaning clients in Perth, both residential and commercial and I always enjoy receiving compliments for a job well done. What is interesting is the level of relief experienced by some clients following a clean. “Ah that’s much better” or “I feel better already” is common, suggesting that having dirty windows for some is somewhat of a stress. Sure a percentage of the population is indifferent to dirty windows but based on my window cleaning experience I would suggest that most are not.
Clean windows allows you to see the outside world more clearly, can make you feel more proud of your home or business and can generally lift your spirits – perhaps we don’t need a study to confirm this!
